The dedication involved.

The care of the cats, the purchase of food, medications and the cleaning of the sanctuary has to be carried out on a daily basis.
This involves disinfecting the floor areas, emptying, cleaning and refilling litter trays and re-filling water bowls with fresh clean water.
Feeding the cats is a huge task which has to be done in stages.
First the cats are separated into those who prefer wet food or dry food.
The cats that are in ill health or on special diets also need to be supervised.
The kittens that are to young to mix with the older cats also need attention.
There is always medication and flea treatment to be administered.
Time is also spent checking over the cats and playing with them.
The whole process takes hours to complete each and every day 365 times a year.
