http://www.pawuk.org.uk Portugal Animal Welfare UK. We officially came into being on the 1st October 2006 as the new identity for The Kismet Account. As Kismet Account we carried out more than 5000 animal neuters since 1998 including 1010 neuters in 2004, 1023 in 2005 and so far 651 in 2006. We are a 100% voluntary group with no paid staff. All our funds are spent on costs directly relating to the welfare of animals and we do not fund volunteers travel expenses, meals etc - this makes us unique in this field. Our current fields of work are neutering projects, education and shelter assistance and we are working to develop projects in all these areas.

Their work alleviates suffering for many thousands of animals and often results in once mistreated pets being re-homed with loving owners, they also concentrate on improving farm conditions for animals and also help injured wildlife to be returned fit and healthy to their natural habitats.

www.care4cats.eu
Care 4 Cats is a UK registered charity - no. 1008057.It
was started in 2000 to help thousands of stray and feral cats in Ibiza.
Formed in 1999 to humanely address the growth of feral cat populations
in Ibiza, Balearics and to encourage the neutering of cats generally.
Often, un-neutered domestic cats become stray cats and start feral
colonies, so education can be a key way of preventing future feral cats.
They operate a policy of trap/neuter/return - the most humane and
effective method to reduce feral cat populations.
